You Raise Me Up!
The Parish Music Ministry of the Catholic Church of the Our Lady of the Rosary rendered an Invocation Song entitled You Raise Me Up during the parish celebration of the Silver Jubilee of Fr. Tomasito Veneracion OFM, Cap last 22nd May 2009 at the parish grounds. The Lord’s Choir, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Choir, Sagrada Familia Choir and the LNB Music Ministry/Choir have joined together to set up a Grand Choir under the baton of Marcos Cujo Medina. An Interpretative Dance was also performed by the Parish Dance Ministry while the Grand Choir rendered the song.

Twinkle Little Stars, Shine Big Star
by Bro. Bernard D. Palomares
In the homily of Father Tom Veneracion, our Parish Priest, last 2nd of January 2009, he emphasized that most of us expect miracles in our lives. Well, brothers and sisters, miracles do happen anytime and anywhere. Only, we are all busy in our personal advancement and interest to take notice and we tend to take them for granted.
Last Christmas, I was tasked, along with the others, to design the Parish church. My assignment was to decorate the Church mostly using Christmas lights. It was a big job and indeed a great opportunity to think that the Church is the biggest in the Gulf.
An Experience of Deeper Spiritual Dimension

Doha's Encounter with the Lord
by: Regina D'Costa
How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, And says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" (Isaiah 52:7).
It was exactly these sentiments that were echoed by the people of Doha, a small city in the emirate of Qatar in the Middle East on October 1, 2, 3, 2008 at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. Indeed our God reigns,in all his majesty and power. This message was brought to all of us who had thirsted and waited patiently in praise, prayer and fasting for the visit of Fr. Rufus Pereira for many years. God made it possible in His time.
Think Big For We Have A Big Church
by jerold
We have to think big because we have a big church”, this was the message given by our beloved parish priest in the Thanksgiving Mass held yesterday the 4th April 2008 as a tribute to all volunteers during the Consecration of our New Church.
A very fitting message to all the volunteers considering the fact that these group of people have the desire to work for the church because of their faith. It was not by accident that Fr. Tom uttered those words, he delivered the message like a brave soldier ready to face a battle.
Everything Happens for a Reason

Deliverance
It is always my desire to share the manifestation of God’s love to me through the overflowing blessings I received since I joined Liwanag ng Buhay community. Yet I could not muster enough courage to overcome my fears to share testimonies in a crowded audience and scheduling on later date was always my excuse. On several occasions I would share with intimate friends on how God works wonders in me which I thought was enough yet the nudge from the Holy Spirit to testify HIS Goodness in crowd become so intense. Until one day, HE used a person closer to me, my dear “kumare” who was instrumental in leading me to charismatic life, and with whom I can not say no …Glory to God, what a deliverance to free me from my fears, now I gathered the confidence to narrate this testimony… Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord and He answered me, he delivered me from all my fears.”

Life As a Journey
by Sis. Mavee Tolentino
There are moments in life when I ask myself, ”Am I taking the right path leading to the Lord?”
Everyday is a mile to a journey we somehow have control of. We may choose to wake up late each morning for work and get caught in a traffic jam, or get up early and start each day with vibrancy and a prayer. We can mingle with the chosen people we want to be with or sit with a brother who desperately need an ear to listen and a heart to inspire. We can choose to be in our best moods or just sulk and carry on our shoulders the load life has laid upon us.
Fortunately, many of the day-to-day choices we make are not life threatening… what meals to cook, what to buy when shopping for food or clothes, or what routes to take in our travel. But one very important choice everyone has to make is the biggest one of all, and that is to reach the end of the journey where we can spend eternity.
God, U and I Dance
by Sis. Nette Alamares
When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable
and jerky. When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance. When I saw "G" I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i"."God, "u" and "i" dance." God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead us in our dancing! My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
LnB Fund-Raising Project
by jerold
Dear Bros & Sis,
Peace of Christ!
Last Friday the 4th of January 2008, the LNB community handed over the total amount generated from the fund raising project to support the building of the new catholic church in Qatar which amounted to Qatari Riyals 67,783.50 to our beloved parish priest Fr. Tomasito Veneracion, OFM Cap. in a gathering before the Friday prayer meeting.
The amount generated was very modest compared to the required amount which was 1.3 Million Qatari Riyals for the church pews alone. The church construction budget according to our parish priest is 65 Million Qatari Riyals. But modest it (the amount) may seem yet the collected amount was beyond expectation, it turned out to be a surprise and a blessing to LNB.

Dear Bros & Sis,
Let me share to you my travel to Rome.
It took me 9 hours to finally reach Rome from Doha via Dubai on 3rd June 2007. As a catholic it is indeed a dream come true to visit the centre of my religious faith, so I was much energized in spite of the long hours of travel upon seeing the city of Rome.
My travel to Rome was a three week Leadership Training conducted by the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS).
Best Friend
by Bro. Warren
Since the beginning of time
All You do is bless men
Too young to understand but now
You're my best friend
How could people doubt You, never think about You
Don’t they know nothing is possible without You?
Faith without fear that’s how they raised
Words of man kill but I was never phased in
Grateful for wisdom that You gave me
But still I’m like, dear God I wonder, could You save me?
Praise Your name, I know some of them hate to do
Judgment day, don’t they know they can’t escape Your crew
I’m just trying to live right and pray You take me through
A Priest Minus One
by jerold
It was the 11th of June 1999, in a solemn ceremony held at the Manila Cathedral, when Cesar S. Calma was ordained as a permanent Deacon by Bishop Teodoro Bacani. It was well attended by family, relatives and friends. A great achievement indeed for a man who works as Senior Cardiovascular Technologist at Hamad Hospital in Doha-Qatar since 1984; a married man and a father to three wonderful children.
